In Tales of the Arabian Nights, you are the hero or heroine in a story of adventure and wonder just like those told by Scheherazade to her spellbound sultan! You will travel the land seeking your own destiny and fortune. You will learn stories and gain wisdom to share with others. Will you be the first to fulfill your destiny? The next Tale is yours to tell! There is, of course, a winner in Tales of the Arabian Nights, but the point of the game is less to see who wins and more to enjoy the unfolding and telling of a great story!

This is a playset for Fiasco I created based on the Star Wars universe post episode 4.
Fiasco is inspired by cinematic tales of small time capers gone disastrously wrong - inspired by films like Blood Simple, Fargo, The Way of the Gun, Burn After Reading, and A Simple Plan. You'll play ordinary people with powerful ambition and poor impulse control. There will be big dreams and flawed execution. It won't go well for them, to put it mildly, and in the end it will probably all go south in a glorious heap of jealousy, murder, and recrimination. It's designed to be played in a single session, usually around two and a half hours, with no prep.
Do you like Dungeon Crawl Classics? Do you like Gamma World? Then you'll love Mutant Crawl Classics. Participate in a 0 level funnel of hapless, adolescent hunters or gatherers - huddled together on their rite of passage. Something or someone is poisoning the village well, and the elders have sent you clear the waters ... expect two heaping scoops of fatality.
You are a Hellbreed, a monster, a nightmare, born in wake of alternate realities crashing together. This timeline is not your own, your memories are at not what they used to be. Yesterday a little girl appeared in your mirror asking you to save her and her family. There is no way you'd fall for such a simple trap, is there?

Most people don’t believe in monsters, but you know the truth. They’re real, and it’s your task to bring them down. This revised edition of Monster of the Week brings that adventure to life. Monster of the Week is a standalone action-horror RPG for 3-5 people. Hunt high school beasties a la Buffy the Vampire Slayer, travel the country to bring down unnatural creatures like the Winchester brothers of Supernatural, or head up the government investigation like Mulder and Scully.

The T.I.M.E Agency protects humanity by preventing temporal faults and paradoxes from threatening the fabric of our universe. As temporal agents, you and your team will be sent into the bodies of beings from different worlds or realities to successfully complete the missions given to you. Failure is impossible, as you will be able to go back in time as many times as required.
T.I.M.E Stories is a narrative game, a game of "decksploration". Each player is free to give their character as deep a "role" as they want, in order to live through a story, as much in the game as around the table. But it's also a board game with rules which allow for reflection and optimization.
At the beginning of the game, the players are at their home base and receive their mission briefing. The object is then to complete it in as few attempts as possible. The actions and movements of the players will use Temporal Units (TU), the quantity of which depend on the scenario and the number of players. Each attempt is called a "run"; one run equals the use of all of the Temporal Units at the players' disposal. When the TU reach zero, the agents are recalled to the agency, and restart the scenario from the beginning, armed with their experience. The object of the game is to make the perfect run, while solving all of the puzzles and overcoming all of a scenario’s obstacles.
The base box contains the entirety of the T.I.M.E Stories system and allows players to play all of the scenarios, the first of which — Asylum — is included. During a scenario, which consists of a deck of 120+ cards, each player explores cards, presented most often in the form of a panorama. Access to some cards require the possession of the proper item or items, while others present surprises, enemies, riddles, clues, and other dangers.
You usually take possession of local hosts to navigate in a given environment, but who knows what you'll have to do to succeed? Roam a med-fan city, looking for the dungeon where the Syaan king is hiding? Survive in the Antarctic while enormous creatures lurk beneath the surface of the ice? Solve a puzzle in an early 20th century asylum? That is all possible, and you might even have to jump from one host to another, or play against your fellow agents from time to time...
In the box, an insert allows players to "save" the game at any point, to play over multiple sessions, just like in a video game. This way, it's possible to pause your ongoing game by preserving the state of the receptacles, the remaining TU, the discovered clues, etc.
T.I.M.E Stories is a decksploring game in which each deck makes anything possible!
It is the 1930s and the world is still recovering from the Great War and the Great Depression that followed it. A second world war can break out at any time. Can you stop it? Will you start it? Better yet, can you win it?
Cataclysm is not your typical game about World War II. The game begins in 1933, not 1939, and is global in scope. Germany is far from dominating Europe. Japan is on the march in Asia. Every crisis is an unexpected opportunity. There is no hindsight and anything can happen.
Truly grand strategic in scope, Cataclysm requires players to lead nations, not just armies or fleets. You must craft a diplomatic strategy, develop political support for your policies at home, shift your economy to a war footing, and build up the forces you need to deter or vanquish your enemies.
There is no traditional I-go-you-go turn structure in Cataclysm. Counters representing political actions, military actions, units, and possible events are drawn at random from an action cup. As each counter comes out, the owning player resolves it, and play swiftly moves on to the next draw. You have to make plans to execute when your chance comes up, but you have no idea when, or in what order, events will transpire.
A game about global war gives every nation armies, air forces, and fleets. But in Cataclysm, military pieces have no numeric values. You know what forces you have and where they are deployed. To resolve combat, each side rolls up to three dice and compares their single highest die. You can devote more resources to a campaign (generating more dice or bonuses), but that does not guarantee a favorable outcome. Your efforts can lead to triumph… or to disaster.
In Cataclysm, you are free to explore alternatives. The Soviets can construct a massive long-range bomber force. Japan can build powerful armored forces to overrun Siberia. Germany can invade Britain, or France can take Berlin, provided you craft a strategy that gets you there.
When you play Cataclysm, you write your own history of a second world war.

Firenze is a medium-weight game in which you are a construction company in 14th century Italy that is competing for prestige points by building city towers of various heights and colors. There is competition between the players to earn these points, and your strategy may change as you see what others have completed. A row of cards form a market from which you gain building materials and also the cards themselves. The cards (personnel, buildings, events, etc) can help you in various ways throughout the game, but a few of them will actually hinder you. You must decide each turn which card has the materials and action that will help you with your construction projects.

Dynamite Nurse is a darkly fantastical game of competitive healthcare. In a world where adventurers make a living diving in dangerous dungeons, magical healing is a necessity. These magical hospitals are no safe haven, as the nurses are viciously sabotaging each other trying to avoid the dreaded title of Dynamite Nurse!
Euphoria is a medium-weight worker placement and resource management game. You lead a team of workers (dice) and recruits (cards) in a race to be the first player to establish your authority throughout the landscape (placing 10 influence stars). The dystopian theme is tongue-in-cheek, and the game has lots of options and interaction on every turn. You will generate commodities and resources, construct markets, collect artifacts, strengthen allegiances, dig tunnels, and fulfill secret agendas. Many of your choices are dilemmas in which you must decide which actions will help you the most but help your opponents the least.
Teaching time is approximately 20-30 minutes, and play time is 2 hours.

It is January of 2019. A sudden blizzard has you (and some other people) trapped in a roadside bed-and-breakfast, where you have no choice but to wait it out. No need to worry, though. You have plenty of fuel, plenty of food, and comfy beds to sleep in. What are the chances that something bad might happen?
The Silent Snow is a story-driven adventure for five players, using the GURPS system with simplified rules (GURPS Lite). The genre of the story is deliberately left unknown. Is it going to be a murder mystery? An alien invasion? A Lovecraftian nightmare? A psychological thriller? Or will your characters spend the evening sipping tea in front of a fire? You'll have to find out in person.
A selection of pregen characters will be provided; you don't need to bring anything except your imagination. The system will be introduced, and is simple to learn and adopt.
Players familiar with GURPS may prepare their own characters, as long as it is understood that the acceptance of any character is entirely left to discretion of the GM, and the following rules are followed: - 90 point character - has to be a regular person who would live a fairly normal life in early 2019 (no Navy SEALs, Nobel prize-winning scientists, serial killers, psychics, etc.). - has to have a reasonable ability and motivation to cooperate with others.
The game may include scenes which could be disturbing to younger audience, and thus mature (17+) players are preferred.
In Dixit, players each have 6 cards with weird pictures in their hand. They take turns being the "storyteller", who selects one of his cards and makes up a sentence about it - it can be a one word sentence, can be sung, or whatever else you can think of. Often we would have sentences like "All dressed up with nowhere to go", or "I'm thinking of fish for dinner", or "Lucky devil". After the storyteller states his sentence, everyone else picks one of their cards that they think matches the same sentence and throw it in the middle. The cards are shuffled up and flipped over and then everyone (but the storyteller) uses their numbered pieces to secretly vote on which picture belonged to the storyteller. From here, points are awarded based on who voted for what, and the storyteller gets points if some (but not all) of the other players got the picture correct. The game goes on like this until the entire pile of cards has been used, at which time the player with the most points wins.

In a world where overzealous scribes put to paper secrets humans should never know, sharp-eyed rare books librarians and their arcane use policies may be the only thing standing between humanity and its destruction. Yet as such books are bound to disappear, the Arkham Inquiry offers libraries its service for retrieval. When books of occult interest go missing, the Inquiry dispatches teams to retrieve the item or minimize its damage. Librarians only know these teams as qualified retrieval specialists who help them avoid nasty headlines, but they have saved much more than a few careers.
The Inquiry sends Investigators to recover the diary of Ezekiel de la Poer, a colonial-era French necromancer hanged for child-murder in 1736. It belongs to the rare books department of the University of Alabama, but was stolen at the home of an emeritus professor in the small town of Rosa, Alabama. The original owner committed abominable acts to gain preternatural powers, all detailed in his diary. The society doesn’t want others following its instructions and unleashing unknown forces.
Can you locate the diary and solve the riddle of Rosa? Find out in Midnight Sub Rosa.

In the Legend of the Five Rings Roleplaying Game (L5R), players take on the role of individual heroes whose honor and loyalty will be put to the test. These heroes are members of the noble class called “samurai” and carry out their duty as warriors, courtiers, priests, or monks defending the Emperor’s interests. Bushidō, a code that demands that samurai ignore their own desires in favor of duty and honor, is the centerpiece of L5R. It is, ultimately, what sets this game apart from every other RPG. Bushido is the moral code, the “way of the warrior,” that informs the behavior of every samurai. It is a double-sided blade of conviction and narrow-mindedness. It is a culture of obedience and tradition. It is the path of the honorable and courageous. It should be noted that L5R is not about playing a real-world samurai, but rather about the romanticized vision of samurai found in stories and film, a vision in which Honor and Bushido have real meaning and force. Players are creating the mythical and legendary tales of samurai who excel in their station.
The primary struggle that samurai face in the game is an internal one: what do you do when your personal feelings conflict with your duty? What desires will your character sacrifice to uphold their ideals? What do you do when two tenets of Bushidō are in opposition, or when your loyalty to the Emperor demands that you commit a dishonorable act? A samurai must choose. Adventures in the Legend of the Five Rings take their cue from eastern storytelling, which valorizes individuals sacrificing themselves to maintain societal harmony, as opposed to western narratives that reward heroes for defying society; however, ideals and human emotions cannot easily be put aside even by the greatest of samurai, and this inner conflict drives the samurai drama that is the Legend of the Five Rings.
Legend of the Five Rings is set in the world of Rokugan. The territories of Rokugan that are controlled by the seven Great Clans are collectively referred to as the Emerald Empire, where long-simmering rivalries and fresh betrayals between the Great Clans ripple through the courts and on the battlefield, in a constant struggle for power. Each clan serves the Emperor in different ways, from the diplomatic machinations of the Crane Clan, the devious manipulations of the Scorpion Clan, to the militant vigilance of the Lion. But the Emerald Empire is beset by threats from without as well as within. The Shadowlands is host to an unimaginable evil beyond the Empire’s Southern wall that is tenuously held by the Crab Clan through great sacrifice. There are those few in Rokugan who have ability to harness magic, a rare gift, which can make it a dangerous threat or a powerful weapon.
The Emerald Magistrates serve the Emperor across Rokugan as investigators, judges, and executioners. You will begin this new chapter of life as a noble samurai who previously served your Clan with distinction, and was recently commissioned into the service of the Emerald Magistrates to dispense the Emperor’s justice across the land.
It is this world that you are tasked to bring order and justice, while maintaining your honor.
