I love board games with multiple phases, lots of moving parts, and a plethora of opportunities to make decisions. It's no wonder that Kingsburg is one of my favorites! Please join me as we each adopt the role of a governor, and vie for resources to build up a province, military power to defend our homes, and above all the influence of the King. Over five years (five turns) players rely on various advisors to the King for resources. From tangibles like gold, wood, and stone to soldiers and portents, each acquisition will shape the future of our communities.
Never played? No problem! I'm happy to teach you how. Sounds like a lot? The game sounds much harder than it is to play.
